I went on a little trip to Machynlleth (in Wales) for my birthday today, and bought some gifts. The first two are from the Owain Glyndŵr Centre, a museum about the Prince of Wales. They are pictures. The first one is the lyrics from a Welsh song called ‘Calon Lân’ and the second is the lyrics from the Welsh national anthem.
Then I got a cup that says ‘Cymru am byth’ on it and the Welsh dragon (Cymru am byth means ‘Wales forever’) from a different shop. I also got two books about Wales before 1066 and the Welsh Princes. I also got some more stones for my collection. Then I got a small figure of Owain Glyndŵr from the Owain Glyndŵr Centre, as well as a plate with him on it.
In case you haven’t noticed, I like Wales and its history.
